Bandon 5 mile race 1st Jan 2018

The 1st Jan 2018 will once again see the running of Bandon 5 mile race, this will be the 20th running of this event by Bandon A.C (having also previously been run by BandonBridge A.C under NACAI banner) This race is commonly known as the Donough Coughlan Memorial, which technically is the name of the cup presented to the winner of the men’s race.
This year, the course will remain the same and the prizes will be presented in the Bandon GAA pavilion afterward along with refreshments as usual, but there is one thing different, this year we are hoping to raise money for the Marymount Hospice.
We are hoping for a big turnout, so that we can raise a lot of money for this very worthy charity.

Entry fee for the race is €15 euro’s for runners (Juniors, minimum age is 15 – €10). There is also a non-competitive walk with €10 entry. All walkers will be entered into a draw for spot prizes afterwards,
From the race entry fee.
€10 per registered walker will be donated to Marymount Hospice.
€5  per registered runner will be donated to Marymount Hospice.
