PRO report 13th Feb

At the IFAM meet in Ghent, Belgium  – Bandon AC athlete Joan Healy ran a 7.33 personal best in heat 2 of the womens 60m, placing fifth in the final.
Meanwhile, in Clarinbridge, Galway at the Irish Life Health  National Juvenile B Cross Country Relays and Intermediate cross country relays there were some fine performances from our athletes.
In the Girls under 12 relays, Bandon placed third. Team comprised of Aoibhinn McKeogh, Grace Nyhan,Maia Mc Court,  Amy Mc Carthy and Alexandra Good.
In boys under 12  relays, where they placed first for gold, team comprised of Des Kenneally, Charlie Twomey, Dara Walsh, Adam Barry and Jack Cullinane.
In the girls under 15 Relay, team comprised of ; Ella Collins, Emma Barry, Eabha Crowley, Ellen Murphy and Niamh Quinn. They finished fifth overall.
In the under 13 boys race Oisín McCarthy placed 8 th individually and was on the Cork team for gold.
Jack Cullinane placed 16 th overall and was also on the Cork team which received Gold.
Conor Galvin and Dara McCarthy were on the Cork Team that placed third.
Under 15 boys were successful too, Rory Falvey  8th, Rory Harrington 17th, Callum Mc Court 27th , Max Hallihan 33rd, all receiving  county Gold Medals.

Congrats to all who medalled and competed to represent their Club and County. Thanks also to Coaches and parents .
