Day 2 County Juvenile PRO Report

Results from Day 2 at CIT in the County  Juvenile Championships.  by Evelyn OReilly, Bandon AC PRO
Under 9; Sive Coughlan second in long jump, Aisling Guinane placed third in 300m.
Under 11; Ruby Cummins secured gold in long jump, Andrew Lane placed second for silver in the shot putt and Jaden Wilmot secured bronze in 600m.
Under 12; Aoife Callan won gold in turbo javelin and Molly O’Donovan placed third for bronze in the 60m sprint. Eoin O’Callaghan won gold in the turbo javelin and placed third for bronze medal in shot putt.
Cormac O’Flynn placed in third and medalled bronze in the turbo javelin.
Under 13; Maia Mc Court secured bronze for third place in long jump, Aoife Tuthill secured gold in the turbo javelin. Coen Crowley received silver for second place in shot putt.
Under 14; Fionn Merritt placed second in 80m sprint to receive silver .
Under 15; athlete Jack Cullen won five medals on day 2. He has to be congratulated for this outstanding accomplishment . Jack placed first in discus and hurdles, second in 200m sprint and shot putt, third in high jump.
Eabha Crowley won two silver medals for placing second in both the long jump and hurdles. Niamh O’Donovan placed third for bronze in the long jump.
Under 16; Niamh Sugrue placed first for gold in the javelin and medalled silver for second place in hammer. Stacey Komolafe secured gold in the 200m race, Erin de Burca placed third for bronze in the 200m race, Jane Buckley won gold in the 800m race, Nicola Tuthill secured the gold in the hammer, Max Hallihan placed first for gold in the discus, Ruairi Harrington placed in third position for bronze in the discus, Ruairi Falvey received gold for his 800m race.
Olivia Tuthill placed third for bronze in 800m race.
Under 17; Peter Ronan placed third for bronze in the 800m race.
Under 18; Ella Stack medalled gold for first place in the high jump.
Under 19; Gerald O’Donovan placed third for bronze in the 200m sprint.
