PRO Report Day 1 County Juveniles

Results from Day 1 held in CIT on 6th May last.

Under 9; Ann O’Leary received bronze in 60m sprint. Isobel Lane was first for gold in turbo javelin.  Leila Cummins medalled silver in turbo javelin.
Under 10; Ben Flynn was first in 500m race, Christopher Woodland won silver in long jump.
Under 11; Evelyn McCarthy placed third in the shot putt and Clodagh Barry placed second in the turbo javelin.
Lewis Lenihan secured gold in turbo javelin, Andrew Lane placed third in the turbo javelin.
Under 12; Molly O’Donovan won gold for first place in shot putt and hurdles. Leah Crean placed third for bronze in long jump. Aoife Callan medalled gold in long jump and silver in shot putt.
Under 12; Eoin O’Callaghan won bronze in hurdles. In the 600m race, Adam Sexton placed second for silver.
Under 13; Laura Sheehy placed third in shot putt. Des Kenneally was second in 600m race.
Under 15; Niamh O’Donovan won gold in shot putt, Eabha Crowley medalled silver in high jump and bronze in 250 m hurdles. Jack Cullen secured gold in javelin, hammer and 250m hurdles, also winning silver in long jump.
Callum McCourt placed second for silver in 1500m race.
Under 16; Ruairi Falvey placed third for bronze in 1500m race, Max Hallihan won silver in javelin, Ruairi Harrington placed third for bronze in javelin, Ciarán McCarthy came second in hammer.
Under 17; Erin de Burca medalled the silver in 100m sprint and Lauren McCourt secured silver in the 300m hurdles.
Gavin Kenny was first in his 1500m race. Fionn Harrington was second in 1500m race. Dylan Chambers won gold in javelin. Diarmuid O’Connor placed second in javelin. Tristan Chambers was third in long jump.
Under 18; Ella Stack placed first in shot putt.
Gerald O’Donovan placed third in his 100m race.
Naoise O’Flaitheartaigh medalled gold in his 1500m race.
According to medal count, total won was 40 which is truly fantastic!  Well done to all who competed.
