Bandon Athletic Club has an incredible opportunity to secure up to €2.8 million in funding towards the development of a new indoor athletics and community facility in Bandon.

But the funding is not yet secured.

Before 15 November, the club must demonstrate that it has the required level of its own funding in place to progress the project.

WHAT ARE WE BUILDING?

The proposed indoor development will complement our existing outdoor track and create a year-round training and community facility in Bandon.

It will provide:

• Indoor athletics training facilities for athletes of all ages and abilities.
• The opportunity to train locally throughout the year, whatever the weather.
• Fewer cancelled training sessions during the winter months.
• Facilities to support the full range of athletics events.
• Gym and strength & conditioning facilities.
• A community meeting and multi-purpose space.
• Improved facilities for our growing membership and the wider community.

From our youngest athletes taking their first steps in the sport, to recreational, senior and elite athletes, this facility has the potential to benefit generations to come.
