A big well done to club member Laura McSweeney who last weekend competed as part of the Irish team at the World Drug Free Powerlifting Association Single Lift Championships in Dusseldorf.
She competed in the Bench Press and Deadlift and claimed the title of World Champion in her age group in both events and also set a new age group World record in the Deadlift.
Laura got a great reception at training last Wed when she arrived with her trophies.
