Scott Gibson won Gold in the U18 400m, Promise Okafor won Gold in the U19 Triple Jump. Silver medal was won by Niamh Sugrue in the Girls U3 Javelin, Ciara McKeon won Bronze in the U15 250m Hurdles and Bronze also for Travis Coomey in the Boys U15 Hammer.
Others who competed included Fionn Harrington (12th u13 Javelin), Amy O’Donoghue (9th U12 Long Jump), Ella Stack (6th u14 High Jump & 9th in the Javelin ) Aisling Cassidy (7th U14 High Jump), Moira Barrett (8th in the 250m Hurdles and 9th in the U14 Shot Putt), Amy Allen (11th u14 Shot Put)
Well done to all the medalists and everyone who competed.

While on a side note Ciara Sheehy, Liscarroll A.C. threw 12.23m in the Girls U/13 Shot Putt to better the record of 11.78m which had been set by Bandon AC’s Laura McSweeney back in 2007 and had stood since.
