Graz Marathon, Austria October 12th 2014

The European police marathon takes place every 4 years and this year it took place in Austria on October the 12th. It was incorporated into the main Graz marathon and was run in 27 degrees heat, so hot that over 60 athletes’ did not finish. David Craig was running on the Irish police team and they finished 8 out of the 19 countries that took part, this was the highest Irish finish to date. He also ran a PB by 8 minutes giving him a time of 3hours and 1 minutes.
