Well done to Phil Healy who was on the Irish Women’s 4x200m and 4x100m relay teams which competed in the IAAF World Relay Championships which took place in the Bahamas on the 2nd and 3rd of May
The 4x200m relay was first up on the Sat and this was a straight final, the team put in a great run and secured a new national record for 4x200m and placed 5th. Phil ran the final leg.
The same quartet of girls were back in action on the Sun in the heats of the 4x100m where among tough competitions the team finished in 5th place with Phil once again running the final leg.
