BANDON AC COMMITTEE MEETING – FIT4LIFE REPORT MARCH 2016

Sunday the 21st February 2016 saw two of our Members take part in the Carrigaline Road Race.
Sunday the 28th February 2016 saw a number of our FIT4LIFE Members take part in the Kilmacsimon Road Race. This was the Beginners first Road Race. One prize was achieved on the day – Lucy McSweeney came 3rd in her Category.
Bateman’s Footwear Bandon have come on-board with Bandon AC and FIT4LIFE offering us 10% on Running Footwear, subject to Membership Cards being shown at time of purchase.
One of our Members – Ann Mills took part in a Charity Boxing Match for the Irish Heart Foundation and was victorious in her fight on the night.
Sunday the 6th March saw 16 Members between Bandon AC and FIT4LIFE take part in the Ballycotton 10 mile Road Race.
I have asked FIT4LIFE Members to take part in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade and to represent our Club. I have suggested that we wear our Club Colours on the Day.
I have been advised by the St. Patrick’s Day Committee that if any Club would like something announced from the Lorry that they will gladly do this and we can send them what we would like to be announced Via Message or contact them through Mobile Phone.
The Parade starts at 2:30 p.m. and assembly is at 2:00 p.m. at St. Patrick’s Church Car Park.
Sunday the 20th March will see another Road Race come up – this is the Mallow 10 Mile and again our Members will be attending this
