Ask not what your club can do for you but what you can do for your club!

On Sunday 14th Aug, the Cork County Junior and Senior Track & Field Championships is being held in CIT and we want a big turnout from the club.
There are 2 “Best Overall” club trophies which we want to bring back to Bandon A.C
One is for the Best club in junior/senior and masters age group. A bunch of brave masters ran, jumped and threw like their lives depended on it back in June so now its the turn of the younger club members to do the same!
There is also at stake the “Chris Warren Cup”, this is the cup which was presented by the club to the Cork County Board at the recent Summer League in Bandon. This cup will be presented to the best Junior/Senior club in the County and we want this cup back in Bandon!

So, its a simple task, we want as many athletes from the club as possible to take part in these Championships and as well as maybe getting the honor of a medal in a County Championships, you might help the club win these Cups.
I know many athletes will be in the process of finishing their season, but we’re asking “Once more unto the breach, dear friends, once more”

Age groups are:
Juniors born in 2000/1999/1998/1997 (under 17 to Under 20)
Seniors born in or before 1996

Entries have to be in early next week, so if interested please contact Catherine ( 0862399665 ) and let her know what events.
