At the Irish Universities Championship Fiona Everard competed in the 5k crossing the line in first place in a new NUIG record. In the men’s 5k Naoise O’Flaitheartaigh finished 7th for UL. Lauren McCourt competing for UCC finished 4th in the 400m. Gavin Kenny for UCC finished 3rd in the 1500m. Ruairi Falvey also UCC finished 5th in his semi final of the 800m.
