There was plenty of action of the weekend. Lauren McCourt competed at the AI Games at the NIA, running 24.86secs in the 200m for a new indoor PB
Gavin Kenny finished an overall 18th in the senior men’s 3000m in a large field of 32 athletes.

Eoin O’Callaghan contested over two days for the U18 Heptathlon with events of 60m, high jump, shot put, 60mh, pole vault & 1000m finishing 1st in 6 out of 7 events to give him an overall score of 4602 to take home the gold
and a new NATIONAL record previous held by Diarmuid O’Connor and Michael Kent DMP AC and 4 new PBs!

Lily Anna Clover competed well in the U14 pentathlon to finish 5th overall with a total score of 2317. Lily had a pb in the shot put of 10.87m. Ruby Cummins & Aoife Callan are also in action in the U18 heptathlon, Ruby finished 2nd
with an overall score of 3256 and Aoife finished finished close behind in 4th with a total score of 3020.
