Bandon A.C will have a float in the St.Patrick’s Day parade on the 17th and will be hoping club members will turn out in force to support the World Record attempt.

Bandon AC Summer Camp
This year the hugely successful Bandon A.C Summer is scheduled to run from Mon 2nd to Fri 6th July in the Bandon Grammar School.
If you wish to book a spot please talk to the coaches at training.
All-Ireland Schools
Best of luck to any club members who are competing in the All-Ireland Schools Cross Country in Galway at the weekend.
Club members competing include; Aisling Everard, Fiona Everard, Mark O Sullivan, Ingrid Burns, Louise Keane and Gerard Crowley.

Phil Healy equaled the Munster Champion Best Performance in U19 60m in
7.78s (was in the hands of Shauna O’Brien, Carrick on Suir, since 2001)

GU14 60m Kate Bernard 8.44s (was 8.45 from Joan Healy since 2005)
GU14 60H Carla Hicks 10.23s (improved her own 10.60s from January last)
GU14 High Jump Carla Hicks 1.30m (improved her own 1.29m from January last)
GU16 60H Emma Young 10.81s (was 14.10s from Phil Healy since 2009)
GU16 High Jump Emma Young 1.40m (was 1.25m from Phil Healy since 2009)
GU18 Shot Putt Laura McSweeney 11.59m (was 10.63m from Tracey Bradfield since 2010)

Jumps Workshop
A Jumps workshop will take place on Wednesday 7th March from 7-9pm at Cork IT Track. It is open to all athletes/coaches aged 12+ with registration taking place at 6.45pm sharp and workshop starting at 7pm. You simply come along on the night and pay €5.
The events covered on the night will be High Jump, Long Jump and Pole Vault. Munster Performance Squad Coaches Chris Regan High Jump, Eamon Flanagan Pole Vault and Stephen Fleming Long Jump will be taking the session.
