The Open Sports which were postponed from the 24th have now been confirmed for Sun 7th Sept in the Town Park Bandon.

Program and Order of events remains the same as original.

Well done to Phil Healy who was recently presented with the Evening Echo Ladies Sportstar of the Month award for July in Rochestown Park Hotel.
This was as a result of her exploits at the European Athletics Championship in Zurich.

Unfortunately due to adverse weather conditions, a decision has been made to postpone the sports today.
a new date will be published shortly.

Apologies, but the decision was made on the grounds of health and safely.

Juvenile events will start at 12noon and Junior / Senior events will start at 2pm. Order of events

There will be both toilet facilities and a shop onsite.
Limited parking will be available near the top entrance to the town park and parking will also be available in St Brogan’s school which is just a 2 min walk from the Town Park.

Well done to Frank Stam who was the only club member in action at the recent All-Ireland Masters Track & Field Championships in Tullamore.
Frank won a silver medal in the discus.

Phil Healy ran a great anchor leg in the 2nd Semi Final of the womens 4x100m to help the team achieve 4th place in a time of 43.84 seconds
This is a new National record beating the old record of 43.93 which was set in the European Championships in 2010.
Unfortunately the team just missed out on qualifying for the final.
Well done Phil.
