1500kms – Bandon2Portugal
A sincere Thank You to everyone who helped in any way to make this happen – all the runners who pounded the treadmills in sauna like conditions, the young & not so young who clocked up the km’s on the bikes(some returning after their stint to fill in gaps!), the bucket shakers, the people who provided the bikes and treadmills, Riverview Shopping Centre who facilitated the event, Toymaster who provided the power, Bandon Books for the fans and the people of Bandon who gave tremendous support over the 2 days!!

It is said “it takes a village to raise a child” & this was so evident this weekend with the town of Bandon getting behind these 2 Teams who will represent their Club, Town, County & Country in The European Junior Clubs Track & Field Championships in Portugal this September!!
