PRO Report 30th April

Latest from Bandon Fit4Life is that members are progressing well in their preparation for the Cork City Marathon. Last weekend ten members competed in the Great Railway Run in Carrigaline, with distances ranging between 10k and 25k. Another member competed in the Rosscarbery 10k, in aid of the Irish Cancer Society.  Keep up the good work!

Our Annual Summer Camp, open to Juvenile members and non members is taking place on 1st July to 4 th July in Bandon Grammar School. Further info and application forms are on Club website; www.bandonac.org and club phone 087 1135500. This fun filled camp is for children from Junior infants right up to sixth class. Early booking is advised.
The West Cork Track and Field Championships are done and dusted , with Bandon AC taking home the coveted ‘Catherine Duggan Perpetual Cup’ for best Overall Club. Ronan Duggan made the presentation to our chairman Patrick Mc Sweeney.

Coaches are the preparing athletes for the upcoming Cork County Track and Field Championship for under 9 to Under 19 age groups . This is based over two days, 5 th and 12 th May next in CIT.   Combined events along with Masters and Seniors take place on May 19 th. Juvenile Bs and Relays are scheduled for May 26th.
