PRO Report 11th Nov

The Juvenile Cross Country Relays took place in Castlelyons on 3 November last. Results as follows; girls under 10 placed third for bronze, boys under 10 placed seventh. Girls under 12 placed fourth and the boys under 12 received gold. Girls under 14 received Gold, boys under 14 placed third for bronze. The girls under 16 placed first for gold. Well done everyone. Special thanks to St. Nicholas AC for hosting this event.
Next event that took place on Sunday 10 th November,  was the Munster Juvenile Uneven  Cross Country Championship in Conna. Hosted by St Catherine’s AC and Munster Athletics. Our under 9 girls placed fourth narrowly missing out on medals. Team comprised of Lily Clover, Kara Casey, Ava Deasy and Saoirse O’Donovan. Boys under 9 came second for silver team medal . Team comprised of Shane Murphy who received an individual medal, Sam Molumphy, John Feheney and Ciaran Guinane. The under 11 girls placed seventeenth. Girls under 13 made up of Ruby Cummins, Aoife Callan and Nathalia Dawidowicz ran a fantastic race too. In the boys under 13 Daniel Dollard received an individual medal for placing tenth overall and along with his teammates, Adam Sexton, Cillian O’Flynn and Eoin O’Callaghan claimed bronze. Amy McCarthy won an individual medal in the Girls under 15 race. Amy along with Ella Collins, Lucy O’Flynn, Sinead Crowley and Aoibhinn O’Sullivan placed seventh overall. Special thanks to Aoibhinn for competing on the day. Dara McCarthy ran extremely well in the boys under 15 race.
Boys under 17; Ruairi Harrington won a County team silver medal placing thirteenth overall. Jane Buckley placed thirteenth also in her race, girls under 17. Jane won a County team gold medal.
Well done to everyone who competed , parents/guardians and the Coaches who give their time willingly.
